Achilleas Dorotheou

CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER

With a distinguished 30-year career spanning key leadership roles in the hospitality industry, Achilleas Dorotheou was appointed MHV’s CEO in 2024. His expertise encompasses tenures as a CEO, Executive Board Member, and General Manager in luxury hotel organizations, including Amathus Hotels, Ikos Resorts, Costa Navarino, and Yoda Group PLC, across Cyprus, Greece, Switzerland, and Germany. Achilleas is recognised for revitalising complex hotel operations and multi-unit food and beverage businesses. He successfully led companies through crisis, transforming brands and boosting financial returns. Notably, he launched Ikos Resorts, one of the most successful startup hotel chains in Europe and played a key role in the development of W Hotel in Costa Navarino. Under his stewardship, Ikos Resorts Olivia was acclaimed as the best global resort in 2015, and Costa Navarino was honoured for operational excellence and people development among 251 European properties. Α proponent of developing young talent, Achilleas holds a Master’s in Hospitality Management from the University of Birmingham, an MBA from IMD Business School, and is a graduate of Hotel Institute Montreux. He furthered his expertise with a scholarship at Cornell University’s General Manager’s program and a professional development program in digital transformation and leadership. A Certified Hotel Administrator from the American Hotel & Lodging Association, Achilleas has also served on various hospitality companies’ boards, including Oaktree Capital Management, Claridge, and Hotel Institute Montreux.

Konstantinos Katechos

CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER

Konstantinos joined MHV in October 2021 as the group’s CFO. He is responsible for the financial operations of the group and manages relationships with investors and lenders. He is also actively involved in securing financing for MHV projects, in the asset acquisition and disposal process.
Before joining MHV, Konstantinos spent seven years as the Finance Head and a Director of McArthurGlen’s Designer Outlets in Greece and Spain, where he oversaw financial operations, asset refinancing and relationships with key stakeholders, including investors, financial institutions and brand partners.
Prior to McArthurGlen, Konstantinos was a Senior Manager with Deloitte’s financial advisory practice in Greece. During his ten-year tenure, he advised on numerous projects across a wide range of industries, including M&As, business valuations and due diligence, with an aggregate transaction value of over two billion euros.
Konstantinos is a CFA charterholder and an ACCA chartered certified accountant. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the Athens University of Economics and Business and a Master’s degree in Accounting & Finance from the London School of Economics.
In his spare time, he has been a guest speaker at various under-graduate and graduate programs at the Athens University of Economics and Business, lecturing on business valuations, M&As and other finance topics.

JELENA RUBESA

CHIEF COMMERCIAL OFFICER

Jelena Rubesa joined MHV in May 2024 as the Group’s Chief Commercial Officer (CCO), marking the pinnacle of her illustrious international career in luxury hospitality. With a proven track record of leading sales and commercial teams at renowned brands such as Charming Hotels and Resorts, Kempinski, Starwood, and Marriott, Jelena brings a wealth of experience garnered from her work in Germany, Italy, Croatia, Slovakia, and Greece. Her expertise spans a diverse array of hospitality settings, including beach resorts, boutique hotels, city hotels, and mountain resorts.

Her accomplishments have earned her significant accolades: the K Star award as Best Sales Manager in EMEA and the second most successful Sales Manager globally in 2012 at Kempinski, and the prestigious Marriott Luxury Brands award for Property Best Leader of the Year 2023, Luxury, for The Romanos, a Luxury Collection Resort, and W Costa Navarino.

Fluent in four languages and holding a Master’s degree in European Studies from Leipzig University, Jelena is committed to continuous professional development. She stays abreast of the latest trends in luxury hospitality, sales, marketing, and revenue through Cornell, CIM, and Signature Worldwide.

As CCO at MHV, Jelena is responsible for the group’s commercial strategy, new business development, distribution, strategic partnerships, customer experience, and innovation. She leads the commercial teams across all MHV hotels and developments, focusing on enhancing key performance metrics. Jelena is dedicated to unlocking each team member’s potential, leading with clarity and transparency, and empowering individuals to achieve the organization’s vision and goals. Jelena is passionate about action, excellence, and living life to the fullest.

KYPROS SANTIS

GENERAL COUNSEL

Managing all aspects of MHV’s legal function, Kypros’ overall goal is to reduce the group’s legal risk. In addition to continuously evaluating and setting the legal team’s longer-term strategic initiatives, Kypros’ vast spectrum of responsibilities includes ongoing Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A), financing/refinancing projects, licensing agreements and general corporate day-to-day matters. He also assists MHV’s various business units in achieving group commercial objectives. This involves collaborating with stakeholders on projects ranging from real estate sales and development to licensing and leasing of commercial spaces within the group’s portfolio of high-end hotels. He further manages board and investor relations and relationships with financial institutions.
With an LLB from Bristol University, Kypros is a dual-qualified Lawyer, trained as a Solicitor of England and Wales and an advocate of Cyprus. His extensive experience primarily lies in finance and corporate/M&A transactions, having worked on a range of high-profile, cross-border transactions in both London and Cyprus. This includes seven years at a City law firm in London before moving back to Cyprus to join a Big Four-affiliated legal practice, where he managed a team of seven before leaving at the Director level.

CHRISTIANA MITSIOU - SOFRONIOU

EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT TO THE CEO

Christiana has been a dedicated Personal Assistant to the CEO at MHV Group since December 2021. In this role, she supports the executive office by managing complex schedules, coordinating high-level meetings, and ensuring seamless daily operations.

Before joining MHV, Christiana served as the Personal Assistant to the Chairman and Managing Director at Parklane Hotels Limited. During her tenure, she played a pivotal role in the renovation, transformation, and rebranding of Le Meridien Spa and Resort into the prestigious Parklane, a Luxury Collection Resort & Spa in Limassol, a member of Marriott International.

Prior to this, Christiana had 14 years’ experience in the MICE industry, specializing in organizing and managing large-scale conferences, incentive programs, and exhibitions.

Earlier in her career, she worked as an English Teacher at a Private Institute and the Adult Education Centers of the Cyprus Ministry of Education, Sport and Youth, demonstrating her versatility and dedication to education.

Christiana holds a Bachelor of Professional Services (BPS) with Honors from the New York Institute of Technology. With a rich background in event management, executive support, and education, she brings a wealth of experience and a proven track record of excellence to her role at MHV.

STELLA ENGLEZOU

Group Human Resources Director

Stella is an experienced Human Resources professional with over 15 years of experience in the hospitality and luxury resort sector. She brings a strong track record in building high-performing teams, driving organizational transformation, and aligning HR strategies with business objectives.

As Group Human Resources Director for MHV Mediterranean Hospitality Venture, Stella oversees HR operations across all business units, leading initiatives in talent acquisition, performance management, employee engagement, and organizational development. Her focus is on strengthening people capabilities, enhancing culture, and supporting sustainable growth across the Group.

Prior to joining MHV, Stella held senior HR roles at City of Dreams Mediterranean (Melco Resorts & Entertainment) and Parklane, a Luxury Collection Resort & Spa, where she played a key role in large-scale operations, including pre-opening projects and workforce management for complex hospitality environments.

She holds an MSc in Human Resource Management and Organizational Behavior from CIIM, along with a Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management from the University of Nicosia.

Yiannis Hadjigregoriades

DIRECTOR OF DEVELOPMENT

With over 35 years of experience in the construction industry since 1987, Yiannis Hadjigregoriades has successfully managed and delivered complex projects across the Middle East and North Africa.

His background includes extensive work on marine structures, oil field developments, airport infrastructure, as well as residential, commercial, and casino developments. He specializes in project execution and site management of multidisciplinary teams, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality results in challenging and diverse environments. Yiannis’s expertise spans construction planning, resource management, and ensuring compliance with international safety and engineering standards.

HEAD OF MARKETING

Marilena is an experienced professional with a proven track record in crafting and executing transformative strategies that amplify brand equity, drive revenue growth, and position organizations at the forefront of their industries. As Head of Marketing for MHV Group, she spearheads the Group’s marketing vision across all sectors, ensuring unified brand storytelling, market leadership, and cross-sectoral synergy.

With experience spanning iconic global brands such as ROLEX, PATEK PHILIPPE, and others, as well as high-growth ventures, Marilena combines creative insight with analytical precision. She holds a Certified Digital Marketing Professional (CDMP) credential from the Digital Marketing Institute and an MSc in Business Management (Digital Marketing) from the Cyprus International Institute of Management (CIIM). She is a Chartered Marketer (CMktr) and a distinguished member of both the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM, UK) and the Chief Marketing Officers Alliance (CMOA, UK).

Her core expertise lies in strategic communications, marketing intelligence, brand architecture, digital transformation, and commercial growth. She brings depth in areas such as visual storytelling, data-driven decision-making, regulatory alignment, high-stakes negotiations, and marketing budgeting. Passionate about empowering high-performing teams, Marilena ensures that every marketing initiative is tightly aligned with organizational goals—driving innovation, resilience, and competitive advantage in a rapidly evolving marketplace.

Ifigenia Michael

Head of Sustainability, Risk & Safety Compliance

Ifigenia Michael is Group Head of Sustainability, Risk & Safety Compliance at MHV Group, where she leads the Group’s ESG, health & safety, environmental management, and compliance frameworks aligned with international standards and best-in-class industry practice . With over 20 years of experience across the hospitality and aviation sectors, and as a certified Chief Sustainability Officer and ISO 9001 and ISO 22000 Auditor, she reinforces a strong culture of assurance, accountability, and operational excellence across the organisation.

She joined Parklane, a Luxury Collection Resort & Spa, during its pre-opening phase in 2018, where she played a pivotal role in embedding sustainability principles into the resort’s operations and contributing to the Group’s ESG reporting framework.

An author of six national professional standards, Ifigenia is also an experienced trainer and active contributor to industry development. She holds a degree in Classical Studies and Humanities from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, complemented by professional certifications in sustainability, auditing, food safety, and occupational health & safety.

COSTAS ORPHANIDES

CLUSTER FINANCIAL MANAGER

Costas Orphanides, as the Cluster FM for MHV Group in Cyprus, adeptly manages the finances of Parklane and The Landmark Nicosia. He excels in strategic planning, budgeting, and forecasting, ensuring financial health and compliance. Costas leads revenue management and cost optimization initiatives, leveraging data insights for strategic decisions. His focus on enhancing efficiency and sustainable growth aligns with MHV’s excellence in hospitality and premium residential development.

Currently, Costas oversees key projects including financial management, cost control, and forecasting initiatives for both properties. He manages financial planning for renovations, implements advanced reporting systems, and launches sustainability programs to enhance financial performance and align with MHV’s strategic goals.

With 25 years of experience as the Financial Manager at Hilton Nicosia, Costas has significantly improved financial health and compliance, earning awards in Forecast Accuracy by Hilton International (EMEA Region) and achieving top employee satisfaction rankings. His achievements include negotiating balanced labor contracts, reducing utility costs, and leading initiatives in revenue management and forecasting.

Costas’s vision as a Strategic FM is to drive financial excellence and sustainable growth through innovative, data-driven strategies. Outside of work, he enjoys creating culinary experiences, focusing on his son’s development, and reading. Balancing professional success with personal growth and community contribution is essential to him.

FROSO FRANGOU

FINANCE EXECUTIVE

Froso Frangou joined MHV as a Finance Executive in July 2024. In this role, she assists with the Group’s financial reporting, ensuring the accuracy and completeness of the holding company’s accounting records. Her responsibilities include preparing the Group’s consolidated management accounts, conducting the quarterly consolidation of the Group’s entities’ financial statements in accordance with IFRS, preparing cash flow reports and budgets, and performing in-depth variance analysis.

Froso began her career at a fiduciary firm in Cyprus, where she managed the accounting records for an international clientele engaged in financing, investment, and brokerage activities. She subsequently advanced to a managerial position at an investment company, where she was responsible for the comprehensive financial management of companies holding portfolios of commercial and residential properties in the UK.

Froso holds a BA (Hons) in Accounting from Northumbria University in Newcastle, and she is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA).

In her spare time, she enjoys traveling to discover new cultures, which broadens her understanding of the world and enriches her experiences. She also places high value on spending quality time with her family, finding it essential for maintaining a healthy work-life balance.

VIVIAN PASHIALI-PATTIHIS

DESIGN MANAGER

A graduate of Nottingham University’s five-year ARB/RIBA recognised course in Architecture, Vivian Pashiali-Pattihis brings a wealth of experience in both design and project management to her role as Design Manager at MHV, joining the company in 2024.
With a career that spans more than 15 years, Vivian has made significant contributions to large-scale and high-end residential projects. Her tenure at the esteemed ZAHA HADID Architects in London lasted 9 years, during which she worked on prominent projects such as the Opus in Dubai, the BEEAH Headquarters in Sharjah, and the Eleftheria Square masterplan in Nicosia. Her expertise also extends to leading high-end residential projects at Kythreotis Architects in Cyprus, from concept design and development through to on-site problem-solving. More recently, as the Facilities and Building Engineer – Architect for Cyprus’ State Health Services Organisation (SHSO), she coordinated technical team operations and contributed to refurbishment and development projects through tender preparation and participation.
Vivian is a multifaceted professional with interests ranging from ceramics, tango, and furniture design to photography and travelling, enriching her architectural perspective with a diverse array of cultural and artistic insights.

STELIOS TAVELOUDIS

TECHNICAL MANAGER

Tapping into a wealth of professional experience in the field, Stelios brings a high level of skill, expertise and leadership proficiency to his position at MHV. As the Technical Manager, he is responsible for the management of all professional disciplines involved in the development of MHV’s portfolio, such as project architects, engineers and other consultants, as well as contractors and subcontractors. His role involves close coordination, supervision and support to ensure the scope of work conforms with the project’s budget, time schedule and development guidelines.
Thus far, his expert hand has been involved in the construction and fit-out of the Nammos and LPM restaurants at Parklane, a Luxury Collection Resort & Spa, Limassol, The Retail Village boutiques, as well as the new MHV offices and the Park Tower Residences. After earning a master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Stelios began his career in architectural and structural design, progressing within the industry with roles at prestigious contracting and land development companies in Cyprus. This includes work on projects like the Jean Nouvel Tower 25 in Nicosia, Limassol Del Mar and the Elysium Mediterranean Beach Resort in Paphos. Continuously working to stay up-to-date with new developments, techniques and materials associated with the development and construction industries, Stelios enjoys reading scientific and technical publications.

PETROS PROESTOS

DESIGN MANAGER

With a dual academic background in Civil Engineering (MEng Honours) from the University of Southampton and Architecture (MArch) from the University of Cyprus, Petros combines technical expertise with a strong design perspective, bringing together architecture and project management to deliver complex developments from concept to completion.

With over 12 years of experience, he has been involved in the coordination, design, and execution of large scale projects, including the Ayia Napa Marina, a landmark mixed use development featuring high end residential, commercial, and lifestyle components. He has also contributed to major projects such as the City of Dreams Mediterranean and other high profile developments in Cyprus.

Petros currently serves as Design Manager at MHV Group, where he oversees the design coordination and execution of the five star The Landmark Nicosia, Autograph Collection. He is also involved in upcoming developments including Parklane Residences Limassol and Porto Heli.

Focused on efficiency and innovation, he is passionate about hospitality developments, with an emphasis on creating distinctive guest experiences through thoughtful architectural design.

ANDREAS PROESTOS

REAL ESTATE SALES MANAGER

Overseeing the sales, organization, promotion and marketing for MHV’s real estate development department Andreas focuses his expert attention on the Landmark Residential and Office Towers and Park Tower Residences. He brings to the role a deep understanding of the local market, coupled with extensive knowledge of strategic positioning and a finger on the pulse of current industry trends. Continuously striving to achieve consensus-based decisions Andreas excels in both internal and external communications.

Following his BSc in Hospitality & Tourism Management from the Glion Institute of Higher Education Andreas took on key sales and operational roles in tourism and real estate, thus bringing extensive experience in the marketing, promotion, and sales of luxury landmark developments to his current role. A keen follower of world economics and politics, Andreas enjoys good food, traveling and spending time with family.

YIOTA PANAYIOTOU

PR & COMMUNICATIONS EXECUTIVE

Yiota joined MHV Group in April 2022. With over 17 years of work experience with the largest media, cosmetics and pharmaceutical companies in Cyprus, Yiota has gained valuable experience in the Public Relations, Sales and Marketing sectors. Currently, she is engaged in implementing an effective PR & Communication strategy for MHV’S existing and newly developed projects. She is also responsible for ensuring that the PR and Communication strategy is creative and engaging to achieve the group’s overall business objectives. Yiota’s extensive experience in planning and organizing corporate and lifestyle events, galas, concerts, exhibitions and conferences has contributed to her impressive career growth. Her personal interests and involvement in the community have led to numerous significant corporate social responsibility activities and events touching on environmental and social life aspects. Overall, her passion for creativity and innovation has led to a myriad of outstanding results in her personal and professional life. She enjoys engaging in inspirational conversations with new people who bring fresh and interesting ideas.

IDALIA CONSTANTINOU

CORPORATE ADMINISTRATOR

Overseeing the ongoing corporate administration of MHV’s group of companies in Cyprus and Greece, Idalia reports directly to the Group General Counsel and works closely with the external company secretaries and legal advisors to ensure all corporate administration remains up to date. A highly-skilled professional in the field of corporate administration, Idalia boasts extensive experience in various multi-national environments, handling international client portfolios and ensuring adherence to relevant corporate laws and regulations. A graduate of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, Idalia holds a degree in French Language and Philology. She has also attended numerous professional development seminars from the Cyprus International Institute of Management, such as ‘Companies Law and Administration Procedures’ and ‘Communicating Effectively’, as well as various courses on global financial crime and anti-money laundering laws and regulations. A firm believer in continuous personal development, she always approaches life with courage, turning challenges into opportunities. She enjoys swimming, hiking and practicing yoga.

Harry Karayiannis

GRAPHIC DESIGN | MARKETING ASSISTANT

Harry joined MHV as a Graphic Designer | Marketing Assistant in April 2025. In this role, he supports the Group’s branding, graphic design, and marketing efforts, ensuring consistency and excellence across all aspects of the holding companies. His responsibilities include the creation of digital and offline marketing assets, always reflecting the high-end and luxury positioning of the brand. 

Harry began his career at a global brokerage Company based in Limassol as a Graphic Designer, where he was part of an international marketing team. His responsibilities included developing Company’s branding and marketing campaigns targeting the UK, USA, and Asian markets. 

He also has experience in the hospitality industry, where he worked with a group Company that operates hotels in Greece and Cyprus. During this time, he contributed to various branding and promotional initiatives, applying key graphic design skills such as layout design, visual storytelling, photo editing, and the creation of cohesive brand identities tailored to upscale hospitality audiences. 

Harry holds a BA in Graphic Design and Multimedia from the Cyprus University of Technology in Limassol. In his spare time, he enjoys traveling to explore new cultures and cuisines, and to immerse himself in art through various museum experiences. This passion for discovery enriches his perspective and fuels his creative inspiration.
