The power of kindness, acceptance and human connection took centre stage at the awards ceremony of the “Together We Stop Bullying” Pancyprian Student Video Competition, an initiative of the Yianis Christodoulou Foundation in collaboration with the Ministry of Education, Sport and Youth and MHV Mediterranean Hospitality Venture.
Among the winning entries, the video created by students of E.S.E.K. Makarios III stood out for its moving message of inclusion, resilience and humanity, capturing the hearts of audiences across Cyprus and securing the competition’s top prize of €50,000 for the school. The students delivered a powerful reminder that every individual deserves respect, understanding and the opportunity to thrive regardless of their differences.
The “Together We Stop Bullying” competition encouraged students from across Cyprus to use creativity and storytelling to raise awareness about bullying and promote empathy, acceptance and cooperation.
Through one minute videos, young people were invited to become ambassadors for positive change within their schools and communities.
